Qualitative Researcher
As the Director of Qualitative Research in a rapidly growing “disruptive” marketing research firm, I am the content developer,
brand ambassador and moderator, as well as the lead strategist, lead researcher, and lead presenter for each of my clients.
As a marketing and academic researcher, I am passionate about the transformative power and potential of social media. It has
given voice to the voiceless, information to the ill-informed, and organizing power to the underrepresented. It has made governments
more accessible, relationships more attainable, and success in business, entrepreneurship, and advocacy more achievable. And as
its rate of adoption continues to grow, so too will its benefits to societies (especially developing ones) around the world.
My primary responsibilities include:
- Assessing clients’ strategic goals and managing community construction to its completion
- Designing and implementing online research exercises that are qualitative in nature to achieve clients’ short and long term research objectives
- Conducting of in-depth analysis, report-writing, and in-person results presentation
- Daily moderation through effective engagement, brokering of connections, and incentives that are specific to a community’s demographics
- Acting as the brand or organizational ambassador to the global community and a magnet for recruitment—a full-time “social networker”
- Keeping communities fresh with topical content that generates discussion and valuable insights
- Consultation with external clients as their day-to-day contact
