I was recently reminded of this photo from years ago at Herman Secondary School in Windsor, Ontario. By chance, I ran into a former student of the schoool who, to my surprise, recognized me from so many years ago. She couldn’t remember my name, but she explained me to that her dream of becoming a Chartered Accountant came true a few years ago and that it was my “dream speech” (I had a presentation called “Dream Setting” back then) that first convinced her that it was possible. She reminded me that no one else in her family had attended college or university, but that I convinced her to cast aside her doubts, be bold, and dream big. That’s when I remembered that we chatted about her circumstances after my presentation that day. It was also when I recalled that she was in this photo. A student among hundreds in a crowd one day… at the top of her field today. Anything is possible in your life when you decide to make it happen.
